Should I dig it up and throw it away, or is it okay?

  1. all mushrooms that have popped up in my terrarium have been a short lived phase. You might get more where this came from, but removing the fruiting body (the actual shroom) won’t do much for you. The myclium is already there.

I don’t think it’s harmful but I could be wrong. Perhaps others can chime in, but when I get a mushroom in a terrarium, I enjoy it while it’s there. It’ll be gone fast.

Friend. Mushrooms don’t do any harm, they just eat decaying matter. As they are rather picky in their enviornment the appearance of mushrooms is typically a sign of a healthy ecosystem

Mushrooms are never bad. They are a sign of healthy soil. Also, you can safely touch any of them (don’t start with me on the red one that grows in the forest in SE Asia, the evidence is weak).

Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. Means you have good soil.

Is that a fittonia in the second picture? How did you get you to be so lush? Need tips!
