NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A world-renowned flower show exhibition will be coming to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens this August.

“Fleurs de Villes,” or Flowers of Cities, is a flower show that features intricate floral arrangements using 12 floral mannequins. It will take place at Cheekwood from Aug. 1-10.

Fleurs de Villes’ Nashville theme is inspired by Cheekwood’s permanent art collection which includes American paintings, sculptures and other decorative arts from the Centennial through World War II. This is their first exhibit that will be featured at a historic estate in the United States.

Fleurs de Villes is a floral company that showcases a city by working with local florists, designers, nurseries and growers to create an engaging exhibit that fosters the love of flowers and the beauty and power they hold to connect with a community. They have already created over 130 fresh flower events across 30 cities in over five countries.

Some of their most notable exhibits include their “Downton Abbey” inspired show in New York City as well as their VOYAGE global theme which includes iconic destinations, such as the Eiffel Tower. Their VOYAGE show is on tour and began in Bal Harbour.

“We are very excited to see beautiful works from Cheekwood’s permanent art collections transformed into floral masterpieces,” Jane MacLeod, the President and CEO of Cheekwood, says. “Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE represents a unique way to showcase the art beyond our galleries and highlights floral design. The Exquisite display set against the backdrop of our historic estate will provide a memorable and inspiring experience for guests.”
