Spring in Colorado! The larkspur patch is poppin' off this year and it's been a delight to see all of the pollinators coming through.

While I'm able to work from home a couple days a week and hang out in the garden, my husband is in office and gets a laugh out of all the Ring notifications he gets of me taking these photos in the yard lol

  1. Larkspurs are beautiful, and they look great altogether in a circle like that! You’re lucky to live where the ranges of different larkspur varieties overlap.

I love the one bee coming in for a landing with her tongue out – ready for action.

Love the bumblers!! There is a smaller species (*Bombus impatiens* – common eastern bumblebee) that seems to be the only one around where I live. Sometimes *Bombus fervidus* (golden northern bumblebee) makes an appearance, but this is seldom. I am in the process of planting more natives to attract them!
