Pretty much killed this over the winter yet am seeing the tiniest bit of growth now. Do I just let it do it's thing? Or can I help it out somehow?
It lives outside in a big planter with direct sun for a few hours a day. When it was doing well I kept it well watered but otherwise let it be.

I too am a murderer of lavender! I’ll watch this sub for some tips!
its not dead, its normal for them to look woody
I have the same. And I thought those little leaves would come back to life, but they died again 😞
Where do you live? Depending on your zone it may need to be covered or brought inside to survive winter
Most lavenders should be cut back completely sometime in winter/early spring and then they grow back bigger evety year
Mine looks similar and when it dries back enough it starts producing lavender again. Don’t let it get rained on or water it a bunch for a while. Let it dry back.
That looks like a very old planter-im bettin thats really old potting soil in there as well, correct??? (Gets ready to collect money). Give it a good soil replacement
They like it really dry. Don’t overwater or dote on it. Does well in full sun and neglect.
Cut back the dead stuff, do not water, give it as much sun as possible. I’m amazed it survived winter in a container in Ontario! I’m in NY and I drag mine into my unheated garage for winter.
Some varieties die back in winter and regrow. Might just be the variety. Generally don’t let the soil stay super damp as they don’t like soggy roots
Looks like it’s just starting to grow maybe leave it alone
Have patience! I once had the same case. I cut back everything that was dead and watered moderately. Seed waterlogging please.
How old is it? I saw on a gardening show that while they are perennials they only have a 4-5 year life span.
