today we’re doing another unboxing video this time around for the gardener supply titan tomato cages those large round ones which we’re going to use this year for our tomato support um as you might remember if you have been following me along for a while I had this beautiful uh copper trelluses which unfortunately got damaged in one of the winter storms the last couple years and now we’re in the bad again which actually needs a trellis and doesn’t have one anymore so this time around I’m using the tomato cages and see if I like them and we’ll see that together how quickly they’re set up and how easy it is so let’s get going i’m Steph Home Garden here in Edo Massachusetts is on six and I love to take you along for the ride so welcome to my channel let’s see what we got here [Music] and this is all the instructions there is so uh we assemble the rings and then the rings and then we assemble stakes and then it looks like they’re supposed to clip in and create the cages so let’s try that oh interesting okay [Music] you have this one here this goes there and that just slides [Music] together ring number one can you do that fast yeah you can sometimes they don’t slide 100% perfect into each other but I think it’s fine i switch to a more comfortable position to do those so let’s see i think my thumbs will hurt afterwards but that’s all right the good thing with sturdy plastic though it doesn’t rust over time and I have like out of the Titan series the squash tunnel outside in the elements now for three years in running or four years now i think four years in running and it’s still really really good the only thing what needs replacement now after all the seasons is the netting but the tunnel itself the plastic frame is really really great sorry for the wind it is hard these days to find good weather for recording it’s all like zip tied together all right next step is the like stakes and you can tell it’s very easy to see which one goes in which and which one goes on the bottom so we’ll connect them to long stakes and then put the rings on it and then you take one with the bottom piece and one top piece which has like clearly the mark where this one fits in push them on together oh they’re nice and tall see nice and tall i am 510 okay so that should be quick though compared to the rings can clearly tell the bottoms by the pointy ends and the tops are just like a normal top so we have five let me see if they’re all somewhat Yeah nice they’re all same height those rings are supposed to just snap into those brackets i’m not exactly sure what the best strategy is i will try one first and then go one here one here and then the other two somehow we’ll see i have some markings where to go no teeny tiny little bit of forest but not much and let’s actually go with everyone i went with all of them um let me see so we have six rings but we need to leave a little bit um space on the bottom where we can push them in the ground with so we’ll just eyeball it let me see [Music] one yeah it’s not going to work [Music] okay but that part is actually really easy I got to say so and now it’s already starting to get a lot more sturdy so that’s good can also adjust them a little bit while they’re on so I’m aiming for about a feet apart because no a little less than a feet apart like 9 in or so so we have some space on the bottom okay let’s keep going [Music] one large tomato cage but they are surprisingly sturdy like really really cool design I got to say so let me get that into the bag one reason why I wanted to get them installed already is because they are new and they’re as you can tell clearly a little bit wider so I wanted to see how many of them I can get into the bed so I know where to plant my tomatoes later so um yeah but looks good so far i have this one here on the corner just press down on [Music] it i think they’re going to hold although we get some serious winds over here so that’s where I’m really curious to see how they’re going to hold up through the season they’re going to take the indeterminant tomato load this year and yeah we will see uh we have some high winds over here but if that works for Laura from Garden Ansa with their crazy winds um in like what is it Eastern Oregon or so they should hold here as well but I guess that’s just one way to find out so I hope this video was interesting to you let me know if you have any questions first impressions are surprisingly sturdy and I guess we’ll find out together so don’t forget to subscribe to see how they hold up through the season let me know if you have any other questions otherwise subscribe and watch another video

So tall!
Hi, I really appreciate the practical value of your video — great content!
Just a quick observation on the title. While “Best Tomato Support for Home Gardeners? Titan Cage Unboxing & First Look” is informative, you might get better reach and click-through if it’s reframed with high-intent keywords and a clear structure.
Here’s a title suggestion that aligns closely with YouTube SEO trends:
Best Tomato Cage for Home Gardeners – Titan Support Review & Setup
This version targets common search terms like “best tomato cage” and “home gardeners,” and adds a review/setup angle to better match user intent and increase discoverability. Let me know if you’d ever like support optimizing titles, descriptions, or keywords — happy to help creators grow organically.
Wishing you continued success with your channel!
I just opened my titan tomato cages and was dismayed there were no directions included. Then I went to Gardener’s Supply website, found the directions, and was dismayed again! Luckily, you had just posted this video and showed me hoe to assemble the cages! Thank you!
