We planted three of these bushes 7 years ago when they were small. This year they really shot up (landscape time has been consumed by the newborn this year).
About 3 days ago we noticed the far right bush (sorry, I don’t know what they’re called, but they turn bright red in the fall) looks unhealthy, drooping.
I did give it a good watering two days ago.
Anyone have any ideas here?

Hi, any irrigation? Could be blocked out by bushes or maybe one of them shifted?
Could be some kind of runoff but it looks contained.
Also sometimes plants just die. 🙁

Have you done anything different than any other year? Ie. Sprayed with something new, moved a downspout, that sort of thing?
I think this is a burning bush. Check to see if rabbits or anything got to the center trunk and girdled it… totally weird issue though, if it is a burning bush they’re super hardy and disease resistant!
Can you give us a closer look at the suffering leaves?
