I'm sure I'll get truckloads of hate mail for using a rapid loader, but I weedeated and edged two (2500-3000sq ft) yards (mine and my parents' front yards) and some of my backyard with the same two 7" pieces before they finally wore down. I've been using the same brand in .105 since 2016 and it took me 6-8 pieces to do the same amount. And 0.95 wasn't even tolerable. Slowed me down way too much.
It "trenches" much easier when I edge the curbs and driveways too.

And here I am using .065. lol
Is a brutal what
I should return the spool of stihl .095 I just bought
So you are using a 4mm /.155 line diameter, but why did you chose this cross-section form? You tried also a classic 4mm /.155 round one in comparison? 🙂
you vs the string she told you not to worry about:
Go buy some .25 insulted wire, it works even better 😏
In using a rapid loader, you have forgotten the face of your father
And it comes with a keyboard.
A what now
Massive. I’ve been using .08
There’s a reason why all the commercial outfits use plain ol round ‘095…
I’ll have to see what wire I have in my trimmer. Didn’t know they came in multiple sizes. I edge with mine and it definitely eats it up.
Try soaking the line in water before using … It will last longer and not break as easy

Thicker the better.
.155, holy hell. I’ve been thrilled using this .095 in my 40V trimmer, but that stuff looks insane.

I went thru an entire pack of dollar tree line yesterday while doing 70ft of ditch
I have a chain link fence I sprayed roundup along the whole trim cause I hated weedeating it
Guys guitar strings y’all are all dimwits
Ugly line is by far the best I have found.
I use plain round and never have any issues with jamming. No matter what I use before it would eventually jam.
I haven’t tried it myself yet but I’ve read that soaking your string in water for 24hrs or so will help it last longer. Can anybody who’s tried it say if it was worth it or not?
I actually prefer the thinner string-doesn’t fuck up my ray bans so quick
