Planning permission has been approved for a cafe, workshop and plant nursery at a walled garden in Ballymahon.
Robert and Geraldine Stewart lodged the application for the Walled Garden Complex at Doory Hall last year.

They plan for the restoration of the existing outbuildings and the extension of the greenhouses, a new multipurpose pavilion and the restoration of the walled garden.
Also included in the plans is the provision of parking and disabled parking along with an upgrade of internal roads.
County planners approved the application this week with 13 conditions attached.
They include one ruling that all conservation and building works shall be supervised and managed by a suitably qualified conservation specialist.
