I guess people who live in drought-prone regions sometimes do this. Basically it says that sunlight rapidly inactivates chlorine, so as long as your water parameters are good (ph, no algaecides, proper chlorine, alkalinity, hardness etc), she should be okay. That article also has a list of plants that can tolerate backwash and water from saltwater pools, and which shouldn’t use any pool water. But don’t do this if you use a copper system like Pristine Blue instead of chlorine, as copper can be toxic. Anyway, this photo is hilarious, thanks for sharing!
