swapping out torn fabric pots for large metal beds.
look how look how that bagged into these fabric pots only lasted about two seasons in this Texas heat I found some round metal beds that’s the same size So I’m about to go ahead and replace them I do like the fabric pots and the way the um plants grow in them The plants grow real good in them I just ain’t got time to keep replacing them especially these super big ones every other year like that So as far as the big ones I’m going just go ahead and replace all of them with uh with these metal beds that I got Now I ain’t getting rid of all of them You know I’mma always have some type of fabric pot out here But I think 30 gallon going to be the sweet spot for them I ain’t buying no more fabric pots bigger than that cuz when them big old bags start to deteriorate it’s too much trouble too much work to have to redo them over and over again like that So the silver metal beds came as a three-pack and I need a little more space right here for that third one And this container over here with all the greenery in it that’s chives right there but I don’t really need it cuz I got a 5 gallon bucket of chives over there So what I’m about to do is completely get rid of the bucket of chives This big pot right here this some struggling sugar baby watermelon I’mma slide them over to where the chives at and that’ll give me more than enough space for that third metal bed And just in case y’all wondering the fabric pots I’m replacing that’s like the size of the sugar baby watermelon pot They was 100 gallon size This one right here with the chives in it is a 50 gallon size And the new metal beds are 3 ft in diameter by 16 in tall I know I’mma put my corn in two of them but I ain’t sure what I’m going to put in that third one yet but I’m sure I’ll figure it out I really like these beds too They much nicer than what I thought they was going to be I’mma eventually get three more to finish off this roll with them I got them from Amazon for $84 with an additional 15% coupon Now at $99 no coupon They’ll be in my safe for later till next season Happy gardening y’all

Why not just use them as liners, since the plants grow well in them?
Nice garden!
Curious if putting the fabric bag (to maintain airpruning effect) inside the metal beds to protect from UV, likely the cause of the deterioration
I didn't know that the fabric pots fell apart that fast!
Love your setup I know you purchased from Amazon can you share the link please
My kind of woman 🫶 plz were gloves baby❤🥂
Bullspalt. Those bags last a decade and they cost very very little
Love your accent. Great gardening tips.
I sew my own fabric pots out of black felt… probably about 15 gallon each. I need to be able to move them while full in case we get a ton of rain or tornadoes come through. They're fantastic for potatoes since i can dump them on a tarp to harvest. I love the galvanized metal raised beds though for everything that isn't directly in the ground.
You can take the woman out of Louisiana, but you can't take Louisiana out of the woman. I love your accent ❤

Omgosh… love your accent I could learn alot from you thank you.
You may want to double check those pots. Some of them are not safe to grow food in them. They use a toxic coating and don’t recommend using for food.
