The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced new appointments at two of its gardens; RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Yorkshire and RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey.
RHS Garden Harlow Carr has appointed Fiona Slight as its new curator, taking over from Paul Cook this summer.
Cook worked as curator since 2013, but is set to leave to pursue personal endeavours.
Elwyn Owen has been appointed head of site for RHS Garden Wisley, leading a team of site managers.
Owen comments:
“We have many new and exciting events planned for this year and I’m relishing the challenge of maintaining the very high standards that RHS Wisley is renowned for.”
Currently part of the curatorial team at Wisley, the garden also announces that Alex Hankey, Paul Kettell and Mark Tusonhree have been appointed as garden managers.
The new team will take responsibilities of the estate and garden services, edibles, seed and wellbeing and hardy ornamental.
