Had this little cutie (Tillandsia Ionantha) for about a month now. It's been going a little dry around the tips despite having a 20 minute soak every week (I'm hesitant to give it anymore, as I'm worried it may rot).

Recently, I've noticed these three small bits pop up (Could these be pups? Will the mother plant die? Is this a sign that I'm actually doing something right, or maybe wrong? Is this situation crazily good luck or bad? I have no clue…)

    Yes those are pups.
the mother plant will no longer produce any new leaves over time it will become weathered and fade, however if you leave the pups attached they will produce more pups and over time you will wind up with a big enough clump that you won’t even notice.
that’s one happy air plant keep it up 👍

Yes, you have pups!! Wait til they grow to about 1/3 the size of the Mother plant before removing. I have 6 pups from an airplant I got 10 months ago. Its so cool to watch them grow. 🌱🌿🌱🌿
