Do you know when I was young? It was white and Black people in the construction industry and then around the late 80s you started seeing a lot of illegal people. Since then the pay scale has hardly ever gone up it’s almost impossible, unless you’re in some sort of union to get a decent pay scale in the construction industry because illegals have infiltrated it because people who own these companies would rather pay illegal immigrants so they don’t have to pay Workmen’s Comp. you know all this stuff they’d have to pay for people who are citizens and they have just ruined this industry.
