Too much light? My philodendron golden saw is suicidal. 2 months ago my golden saw started flowering and killing off 4 new leaves(dead before they even emerge). After cutting off the flowers it finally gave me a new healthy leaf. But now this new leaf flowered again and a dead leaf emerged. Help?

I already cut off the new flowers but I don’t want to keep cycling thru this.
This issue started after I moved it indoors and gave it artificial lighting. I am going to try to reduce the light it gets but any other suggestions?
Does it think it has reached the top of the canopy and would burn under direct sunlight any higher so it just tries flowering to procreate?
I gave it tons of fertilizer after the first flowering, doesn’t seem to help.

Once you see a flower, the plant has already used most of the energy it heed to to form it. All that cutting it off does is send the plant into a panic thinking that it can’t reproduce.
If you want it to stop producing flowers you need to *let* it flower. By cutting them off you are stressing out the plant and causing more flowers.
