I have a small garden that we tend to let go fairly wild. The grasses do get quite high (I just mowed for the first time this year) but there is a shady corner that is less and less grass and more and more daisies, clovers and buttercups. I love it so much! It can keep expanding and taking over as far as I'm concerned.

Based in the SE UK. The pictures show a freshly mowed garden that has a corner full of wild flowers (mostly daisies and buttercups).

  2. Gorgeous little corner! I don’t know where you are and are they native to your area, but Marsh Marigolds (Caltha Palustris) complement buttercups beautifully.

Just a warning – buttercups are highly invasive and strangle out everything else. They are also so hard to control and get rid of. There are other natives that will be better neighbors to their fellow pollinators.
