Stephen Edwards is a bum trainer. Can’t even get in the ring and give introductions. Stitch Duran was giving instructions during the Benavidez fight because “Breadman” didn’t know what to say. Plant needs a real trainer.
Canelo vs Plant was so boring. Benavides and Resendiz were much better vs plant. More exiting. Therefore the problem was Canelo. The Pre Madonna of boxing 🥊. Coddled by delahoya and then coddle now by Haisheik or however you spell it. Canelo is the cash cow because he’s a red head Mexican. Otherwise he wouldn’t of been pampered so much and he would’ve lost many more fights.

Man im so disappointed in this fight, I rrreeaallyy wanted plant to win, he was just to stagnant and only relied on his jab and when things got rough he tried to do the same thing he did with dirrell. But honestly he shoulda kept that same aggression that he had in the fight with dirrell in this one. His slick counter punching mixed with a pressuring offense also WITH his great defense would've been so dangerous to any of his opponents.
