I popped in to HD on my lunch just to do a quick sweep and I'll be damned if I didn't find the biggest Thai Con I've ever seen. It was like a quarter the price you would think and the variegation… * chefs kiss*🤌🤌
I scared the lady next to me after letting out a rather loud "what the fuck!?!?." Needless to say I have a new plant.
I have large hands btw in reference to pic 3. That leaf is like 3 feet long.

I reckon we are going to be seeing a small “variegated” monsters / pothos / PPP etc. boom again very soon.
Remember the insanity for these plants during COVID when no one has anything better to do other than obsess over houseplants 🤣 and these were so highly in demand their prices were ridiculous. But everyone was propping and breeding them due to the demand.
I was like “give it a few years….. Rather than buy a tiny one for the price of a small house, we will be able to get a nice large one at a normal plant price once all these babies mature”

These have been popping up at Lowe’s stores in various states over the last week or so. Guess Home Depot got in on it as well. Neither has had any of the smaller Thai Cons here so far so I was surprised to see these massive ones.

Pray you have enough room for it to grow. I bought a small one and it grew and grew and took over my bank of windows in my living room. I had to donate it to a nursing home where they had a huge picture window and room for it to grow into the giant beauty it became.
