We moved in on a quarter acre a while back decommissioned the sprinkler system and trucked in wood mulch and started planting. Organized the yard into guilds based around a tree and a companion plant :
The trees are 2 apples, 2 peaches, 2 pears, 2 plums, 2 cherries, a Hawthorne, a crabapple and a quince and the maple.
