How do I deter this adorable little asshole? I had to pick all of my tomatoes green just so I could actually have some. Little bastard ate all my bell peppers and shishitos. Nabbed a cayenne too but learned his lesson fast there lol

so adorable, but so evil at the same time

A fence that rabbits cannot pass. That is your best option to keep it out.

Second option is to plant twice as much as what you want to grow, so that when half is eaten by rabbits, you have enough anyway.

This is why I have a rabbit fence around my garden because we get a lot of rabbits

  4. deliberatewellbeing

wait till it multiplies. then the other half of your garden will be gone too.

  5. They only ate half; they are sharing at least.

I planted some lettuce and other veggies for the rabbits in the yard, but they mainly just nibble on the lawn. Live and let live. ❤️

If you didn’t want the rabbit to eat the food you grew for him why did you grow it for him lol

No repellents will work. You’ll need a physical barrier, probably hardware cloth.

I had the same problem! The only thing that worked for me was putting up some chicken wire around my garden beds. Tried sprays and repellents, but nothing kept the bunnies out except a physical barrier.

Mint!!!! They ate my tulip leaves once never again

Ah he’s a viscous Tyrollean Bunny. He’ll eat your face off look at that crafty man eating side eye he’s giving you! 😂

Sorry the bunbun trashed the plants
I plant curry bushes in the corner of my 7b squar foot garden. The squirrels and rabbits seem to be offended by the smell

I’ve found that if your lawn is the salad bar buffet of a rabbit’s dreams, they leave your veggies alone. Most rabbits I’ve seen prefer to munch on dandelion greens over crops

I cage plants and try to have too much so we can all be happy.

We fence everything but the tomatoes. They never go near ours. The one year we did fence them was when a deer kept drinking from the birdbath and eating the foliage on the tomatoes. It looked like its leg was broken.

I have one too! He’s living in my backyard and is just a baby.

The wild rabbit that hangs out in my yard ate my tomatoes too. But I don’t mind because they were from a too soft tomato 🍅 I just popped into a pot full of dirt and lo and behold I got a 4 foot plant 😆. Full of Roma tomatoes.

Fried green tomatoes!!!! No idea how to deter a bunny but jealous of your green tomatoes. I’ve got an heirloom that’s about another week or two away from this.

Rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, mice, birds. Turn your back and they’re all just waiting to dine.

I grew a bunch of Black Eyed Susans from seed this spring, first time growing flowers from seeds. Just as they’ve all started blooming recently, the rabbits just went to town. Absolutely demolished them. I’m sure the little bastards are eyeing my vegetables next.

  20. It’s his/her yard now. I don’t make the rules.

  21. Grow more! In my garden, we grow a minimum of 3 per item.

1 for us, 1 for the bugs, 1 for the critters. We always have more than we can give away.

I adore your adorable little asshole.

You’re on to something with the cayennes

I planted some sacrificial celery plants in my garden this year. They get chewed to the ground daily but the rest of my garden is left alone.

  24. ComfortableTrouble14

Do you have any fencing for around your garden? If not he’s really asking for it now!
