ARMATHWAITE Village near Carlisle is hosting an open garden event this month.
Around nine gardens will be on display, across Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th from 12pm until 5pm each day.
There will be a free garden trail for children to follow as well as tea and cakes which will be served in the Village Hall.
Entry costs £5 and under 16s with an adult go free. Tickets can be purchased at the tent in the centre of the village.
All proceeds from the event will be divided between Christ and St Mary’s Church and the Village Hall.
A spokesperson said: “Come and peer into the open gardens all of which have characters of their own – some old, some new – each one with special charms.”
