Planted it last spring and it’s pushing 7’ tall. Always swarmed with tiny pollinators.

An underappreciated stunner, for sure. It’s always the star of my garden in June.

Sometimes I see plants at their mature state only to quickly realize I’ve got to move them before they dwarf everything near it. And I just got the same feeling after seeing your monster rue. Haha it’s gorgeous.

Which meadowrue is this? Is this Thalictrum pubescens?

IIRC, you need both male and female plants to pollinate it.

Wow. I really have no place to put something that grows that tall. At least not at this time.

The lobes on the leaves make me think of piano keys and I think this would be delightful to tippy tap

Wow that looks awesome! I don’t know much about meadow rue but I got one for a shady spot Thalictrum fendleri a couple weeks ago. I hope mine will look as marvelous as yours. The foliage is delicate and probably feels lovely to the touch.
