New gardener with a No Lawn dream and my first bloom!!

Hi everyone!

I love seeing your photos, they are incredibly inspiring!

I’m new to gardening and you’ll see in the background, there’s a huge lawn. My goal is to keep a section for my pups to run but the rest? I want to fill it with edible , bee friendly, and butterfly friendly plants!

I bought this plant in April and took time to figure out my plan (I know, should’ve had that ready but in my defense it was a local plant sale and I got carried away…), and it says full but my garden takes that to the extreme!

But here we are, 3 weeks after finding it the best spot and I have a bloom!
