I love watching people getting excited over small things. It’s life’s essence. I wish you the best for your crops.

Nothing like the first crop from a plant. I planted all my winter veg today!

Congrats! Also, besides the pepper you seem to have grown some huge healthy melons.

Nice! I know you’re excited! This is my first year gardening, too! (other than berries)
All I’ve gotten so far other than tons of strawberries is my Kohlrabi and lettuce.. Super excited for my peppers and tomatoes!!! But they are just now blooming.. idk where you live, but your stuff is way ahead of mine.
Also, this year seems to be really good for my blackberries and seaberries if the green berries ripen all the way, then it will be a bountiful harvest, indeed!

Mods, can you go through the comments? Can there be a place online where women aren’t sexually harrassed?

Once you taste home grown food, you never want to go back to store bought. Congrats!

  9. That’s technically a fruit so you’re still to pick your first vegetable.

  10. Oh man, there’s nothing like the first chili of the season. Congrats!

It’s always  so exciting to harvest , congrats!  Younger pepper plants are so cute because they are so tiny and the peppers they produce are almost as big as the plant.

Ha that’s funny my first harvest was also peppers. Mine were banana peppers followed by Cajun bell peppers. Been getting sweet sugar peas too

Nice. Picked our first cherry tomato with my niece yesterday. She loves going around each day checking if anythings ripe.

Yay!!! This is the best feeling! Congrats!!

  17. Damn. Wisconsin here. I wish my peppers were at this stage at this point of the year.

  18. I’m also new but is she being a bit rough with the plant when picking the pepper? Or is that fine?
