1 Philodendron #2 Pothos #3 Kalanchoe

Pots have Drainage, I water until the sould is moist and whenever the top seems dry. It's an indoor plant that receives indirect sunlight mostly just lights from the house

The first one, if it’s a heart leaf philo like mine, they’re pretty tolerant to less watering. I’m pretty sure you’re overwatering that one but I cannot speak to the other plants. Note, I do live in the greater Seattle area where things are a moderate humidity and I water once 1.5-2 weeks. So if you live somewhere more humid than me it’s definitely overwatering but if you live somewhere drier then I’m not versed. This was a soak before a backpacking trip.

Number one looks like over watering. How long is it taking for the soil to dry out between waterings?

Number two looks the same, Plus it looks like the plant stems are buried too deep beneath the soil.

Number three, looks fine. Flowers don’t last forever.

I think all of your plants could do with more light, perhaps better draining soil, less frequent watering. Really, you’ve just got to start messing with the variables.

  3. The first one looks overwatered, maybe check if there are also rot roots.
The second one looks burnt by sun and overwatered.
The third one is doing great! It is ok that the flowers dry out 🙂

just popping in to say your soil looks like it has a lot of peat moss/coco fiber in it! iirc when soil is like that you could say it’s very organic (or maybe it’s the other way around). that kinda stuff retains a lot of moisture so if you don’t want to replace it just water it way, way less often than you think you need to.

i had issues with overwatering plants for years and a ton of them were resolved by mixing perlite and orchid bark into my potting soil. i shoot for a ratio of 2:1 soil to perlite and just toss a couple handfuls of bark in.
