  1. Just popping in to say.. Love all your videos, Jess! Learning so much from you and my (10 year old) daughter and I really enjoy your content. You just seem like someone I'd want to come hang out with! And I feel you- I can't focus when there are snacks to be had either! 😅😂

  2. First, like in january, I thought that the climate was sort of the same like the Netherlands. I was so wrong 😂😂😂 your garden is insane!

  3. Yes! Up here in Wisconsin I'm just starting to see the start of tomatoes on a couple plants. Otherwise waiting on blooms. Jealous you are eating delicious cherry tomatoes!

  4. We don't care for fried green tomatoes, so I usually make green tomato bread (delicious) or chow chow with our green tomatoes. The whole family is hooked on chow chow!! They are asking for more, and we are not even getting tomatoes yet!!

  5. Love this content! So much of our community is about sharing..things we love , things that work or our goofs.. thank ladybug ❤

  7. I'm digging the glorious level of joy you are walking in, this gardening season. It blesses me to see in the mist of so much work, youare resting in the busy❤

  8. Jess – since you have an abundance of green tomatoes that might go to waste, you should try canning the green tomato verde sauce in the Ball cookbook. It is so delicious that I've started harvesting the first flush of green tomatoes from my indeterminate plants to make a batch, and then all of the green ones left on the vine right before the first frost – and that makes enough for the next year. (We love verde sauce but I didn't have much luck with tomatillos – and when I did it took a million to make enough for us to use. This one uses part of our abundant tomato harvest of larger tomatoes and makes a delicious sauce that's we use in all sorts of recipes – it can be used as a salsa, a marinade, or a sauce!)

  9. ❤Home from planting a garden bed at my husband’s summer day camp office that I do once every year. Mint, lavender and oregano came back, but I popped in lantana and citronella plants to fill it up. He said “Wow, look I didn’t hit any rocks” because every year we’ve added 2 bags of compost that’s helped the bed be brilliant with mostly hands off care. We also don’t have to water because it’s raining 5 days a week lately. Thanks for creating this video for a good lunch break watch. 😊

  10. Absolutely love " What I'm digging" ❤️ 1 it's just a cute name and B the more ( videos) the merrier ❤ I learn more and more everytime I watch one of your videos…oh the the sunflowers, the pale yellow…are those vanilla Ice?

  13. I am in Springfield, Illinois and I have been eating fried green tomatoes since I was a little girl. I'm 57 years old so I'd say they're not just a southern thing. They are just a GOOD THING and those that know, know. 😉

  14. If it's garden, food, plant, animal, vegetable, mineral, loving life and God's creation related, I'll stay tuned for it. Thanks Ben and Jess! Peace and Blessings 🍓🌻🍅

  15. What a serendipitous video to post on the day I'm working on figuring out where my money is going and making a budget so I can afford to quit one of my jobs 🙃

  16. I agree with Ben cherry tomatoes are the best. I won't pass up a thin sliced variety of tomatoes, avocado, cheese sandwich. Yummy!
