I have three of these old containers that held Granny Smith apple trees years ago (probably 20+). They were subjected to the elements of all seasons. I’ve cleaned them with a bleach solution and washed with dish soap on different occasions.
Would it be okay to reuse them for planting vegetables or fruit? Or are there any reasons why anyone would not?

Perfectly fine, no reason not to use them. They look amazing for how old they are.
Absolutely!
