Hi everyone! I’m new here and hoping y’all can help with my string of pearls. I got her about a year ago and she grew super quickly when I put her in the current planter (plastic). I have always bottom watered every 3-4 days and she has been in a western facing window. This seemed to be the perfect combo bc she grew like crazy until about two months ago, when I first noticed the crispy/shriveled pearls. Based on advice I found in other posts, I added a grow light for 8 hours a day (assuming it wasn’t enough sunlight) and stopped watering as often (assuming I was overwatering). There’s a solid chance that I am still overwatering but other than that, I am at a loss bc the shriveling is happening again. It seems to be contained to a few strands and is near the top of the plant, but the roots look to be healthy still. Sorry for the long post, just wanting to include details! Thanks for any advice you can offer 🙂

Those are the leaves at the bases of those super long stems. Leaves usually have a limited lifespan so spend you let them trail like this eventually the older ones will just die off.

SOP in the wild are floor carpeters not trailers. So they are used to their stems having constant access to soil so they can keep re-rooting and producing new leaves
