Hello, I wanted help with identifying this mushroom and its potential risk to the plant (I think it’s a mushroom?)
Found two such things growing in my Cape Jasmine flower pot kept indoors. The pot is kept by the window and revives indirect sunlight from the north direction. I water the pot when I feel that the soil is dry. Is this harmful to the plant/should I take it out? 😅
Any help is appreciated!

the dead leaves? yes take those out and keep fallen debris off the top.
the mushroom? no leave him. its a sign of healthy soil breaking down.
Looks like a coprinaceae mushroom. It’s really up to you if you want to remove it or not, no right or wrong answer. Won’t hurt anything.
The mushroom won’t hurt the plant but normally are a sign of wet soil & poor lighting.
