Hi everyone! I am new to air plants and i’m wondering if these both look okay. I’ve had them both for about a week and just want to make sure I’m not accidentally killing them. They are both placed on a west facing windowsill that is covered by trees, with a normal temperature around 78-80 degrees f and humidity around 45%-50%. They are soaked in the morning once a week for about 30 minutes and dried upside down for almost the whole day before I place them back into their spots. I’ve noticed that the smaller plant has brown leaves and a yellow-ish base along with some brown spots; the home I rescued the small one from didn’t really give it much sunlight and it was soaked overnight once every 3 weeks. Should I just wait and see how the smaller one adapts to my routine before I get worried? Is there anything I should change as far as care goes? Thanks for any insight! Also, would anyone happen to know what species these are? I think the small one is ionantha, but not too sure on the longer one. (The first 3 pictures are of the same plant.)
