  1. Ya’ll are such an inspiration! I’m 42 and beginning a journey to eventually hopefully soon to start homesteading. Am feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to learn about how to buy land and have a home built and sell our current home but this morning I saw that one of my roma tomatoe plants in my new greenstalk has 2 tiny green tomatoes and was overjoyed. This waiting room is definitely turning into a classroom.

  2. Was trying to get my garden beds somewhat put together while listening. Unfortunately I am now at a pause because fire ants took over the soil bags. 😢. But in the words of the great philosopher Bon Jovi “oh we’re half way there, oh livin on a prayer”. 🤣🤣🤣. Just happy to have the space to do all this. Thanks yall! Hope everyone has a safe fun trip.

  3. I am in Southern California (Temecula Valley – specifically Wildomar). We have a cow share on our property. 2 A2/A2 Jersey cows and they get milked twice a day. Way too much milk for just me and my husband so we have members buy in and own a share of the cows. They pay quarterly "boarding" dues. As part owners of the cows, they get to come once a week (same day each week) to milk the cows and take home the milk they collect. There is a total of 14 shifts. We milk 5 shifts a week and the other 7 shifts are for the members. We train them and we are here on the property if they need any assistance. it works out great for us as well as the community.

  4. The stove beeping in the background had me looking at my appliances like…..WHY ARE YOU BEEPING!! I’m trying to watch my show hahahaha. Duh lol. It took me a minute to figure out it was in your background not mine. 😂

  5. Jess and Leah,
Oh my goodness this was the most delightful, joyous, heart and soul filling conversation to see and listen to you both together in one place🌻🌸
I thoroughly enjoy listening you both🎶🎶Joy, Joy, Joy🎉
    Enjoy your precious time together.

  6. Swing you guys hang out is always ‘small world’ for me, as I used to teach/ work at Bethel Preschool in Redding! I always think ‘how fun is this?!’ 😄

  7. I loved, loved meeting y’all yesterday and wanted to hear your talk today but decided to leave before the storms since I was by myself. Just got home. Hope y’all have a safe trip home as well.

  8. I made my classroom with Jess. We now have a huge garden and chickens and fruit orchards all because in 2019 I started watching R&R. She inspired our family to abundance. God is using you in a mighty way Jess. God bless you until next time my friends. Please Like! Subscribe! and Share! this channel. ❤❤❤

  9. The rainbow in the background of the final few minutes was so fitting. Thank you Peter. I live in Charlotte, NC and although so close to the area that you were in, I’ve never seen some of those places. My heart breaks for those people. Many thanks to the volunteers that are helping there.

  10. I think I’m becoming dependent on Jess putting out videos daily. Love how genuine you are Jess! God bless you ❤

  11. I totally relate to what Leah is saying. I've been buying goat milk from someone regularly every week. We've talked and she's seen im willing to do hard things. I stopped by and saw her processing chickens and asked if she wanted help. She hesitated but her daughter was sick so she really would appreciate the help so long as I was actually helpful. And I was and I got to learn. I've helped her a few times now and then recently she's asked me if I'd be willing to learn to milk her goats and over milking when she's out of town. Making connections and showing up consistently creates these kinds of relationships regardless of what your home/property is like

  12. I wish I had known about this festival it’s only an hour and a half away from me. So bummed.

  13. The consolation cow…I read that and thought..what the heck. What a great little story and interesting conversation. I love when folks help one another out are are creative in working relationships. Thank you ladies!

  14. I saw you Jess at baker creek seed festival back in 2019 in Santa Rosa and when you spoke the room was packed! I’m so glad I did bc baker creek doesn’t have the seed festival in Santa Rosa anymore so I’m glad I met you then. I don’t know if you remember but I’m the one who walked with you to see Brad with wild boar farms ❤❤❤

  15. It was so amazing to meet you today! I wish I had watched this first, I would have taken more time to talk to you! I know you can get sorta overwhelmed with tons of people so I didn't want to add to your plate. It's been such an amazing festival! So grateful ❤❤

  16. Aw Man I wish I knew you were in Columbia Tenn. I have family there I sure would have been paying them a visit and them come out to see you. 😥

  17. I could not relate more! I'm from San Diego and I live in Oklahoma and I've never adapted, the humidity kills me still after 20 years!

  18. I was about 5min into this video and a storm started. My power went out. Then a tree fell on one of my gardens and also crushed my husband's truck. Devastating. All that hard work, just gone in 5 seconds. My tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, rosemary. I had some iris's in there. Tree trunk right on top of my big tub of swamp sunflowers. I think I can see one of my pots of basil I may be able to get out, I'm not sure. Most of it is probably not going to make it. Yes I have insurance….but all that work. My raised bed we built from scratch with a trellis we built. Crushed. My heart….crushed.

  19. 🍀🍀🍀🍀 I went to Rory festival for the first time last year in my hopes to meet you and…sadly it was the one year you did not go 😜maybe next year!
