Hi everyone! I happened upon this philodendron Melanochrysum today. But I noticed it was more pink than anything else. Is this normal? Even the new leaf is showing signs of pink.
this is not unusual for new growth/immature leaves. they come out pink and as they mature turn to a deeper green. because there’s no coloring on the leaves i wouldn’t assume theres any variegation. looks like a healthy happy plant!

Incoming melanochrysum leaves are typically orange/copper. The color is actually quite striking. Are you 100% sure this is a melanochrysum? It reminds me more of philodendron glorious, which also gets a little bit of pink in its incoming leaves from its gloriosum parent.
