Thanks for your support, cheers Mark 🙂

  2. I painted the plastic plant clips (the green ones) with a cheap can of spraypaint in yellow and that was 4 years ago and they are (mostly) still going. I painted them yellow so they are easy to see…, not realising that it protected them from the UV…, the ones that weren't painted went brittle in the first season.

  3. Would not touch temu with an 11foot fruit picker but was helpful to see some things a can copy and make myself

  4. Ya i bought a tub those clips I live in canada we have cold winters like -35c c so don't leave them they go brittle and break great videos thanks from nova scotia

  5. Temu is just a marketplace for retailers to list products with a focus on lower prices. Some of the products are worth the money and some are not. I find Temu gets the bad reputation because people go for deals that are way too good to be true and then they get a product that is not quality. I find that if you avoid products like this you can get a great deal on quality products.

  6. Dude, Temu is criminal just like Shein in their business practices and I find it sad you're buying from them.

And this isn't ANYTHING about China because I buy Chinese made products all the time since they make an overwhelming percentage of products sold around the world and especially in the gardening world.

  7. the compost bag does not work well, it will take years to break down that way, but worms can break all in weeks

  8. the problem with small solar power devices is how long the solar panel lasts and how long the battery lasts, i have had many suck devices and they only last about 6 months to a year when poorly made, so there is no point reviewing them at under 1 year of age

  9. Would you ever do a video about your service? And maybe how you got from that to gardening? My Grandfather who was a Lt Cmdr in the RAN is an avid gardener. Perhaps its more of a meditation type thing?

  10. I buy a lot from Temu and it can be a bit hit and miss, thats why reviews are good 🙂 A point with those clear clips, they dont last long in the sun (In West Oz anyway) and become brittle.. The green ones come unsprung pretty easy too. Agree about the netting, really handy and lasts ages.

  11. Time to unsubscribe if you’re so desperate for content that you’d do a video for a company with such a shady reputation.

  12. Great informative video, but there are two No-nos:

    1. No lemons in the compost. Worms do not like citrus, especially lemons. This goes for onions and garlic too.

    2. Never use the blade of the knife to scrape off a cutting board. It ruins the blade. Instead, use the top of the knife.

Also, those garden clips are ok rusting. The rust would be good for the plants. And at 50 for $5, it's not a big deal. That breaks down to $0.10 per clip. They're virtually disposal! 😎

  13. Dollar Tree in the US sells plastic clips with that metal loop, very similar to/identical to those. I have used them for a couple years and the metal spring doesn't seem to rust, but sometimes it pops out (there's a small indentation where the wire seats on both sides of the clips.) Pretty easy to put it back, though!

I have that exact same funny garden sign. Also bought one with a chicken on it that says CLUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT. They do indeed make me laugh!

  14. I actually have a few of the he items you reviewed. The green garden clips do not last past 1 season. I love my vintage sign. I haven't used the sharpener or the trellis yet 🤔

  15. Potato growing bags are great. I had great crops out of them. I'm not using this opening feature, though. They are fantastic for indeterminate potato's. Give a try. I also have a few felt ones. More expensive, but quality and performance are spot on.
