When is last time for planting garlic?
If you are using the right sized gravel and mix it with porous media such as clay balls an aquaponics growbed will be not only seeded but in about 8 weeks it will be becoming a matured growbed!
The best size is roughly 10mm to 14mm gravel.
Any decent aquarium gravel which is suitable for undergravel filter plates will be good but using slightly larger gravel is better with aquaponics.
If the temperature is higher it allows a buffer for the bacteria and anaerobic bacteria won't become a problem.
Thanks Josh always great videos with helpful tips for down under even if you guys have a far more "tropical" kind of environment! lol Thanks from a Kiwi fan
Pengs garden is so smart, such a wonderful segment!
Josh – what line are you using and what is on the end of it? I’ve never seen reply that you can just pull up like that and put back. Is there an air flushing valve or anything?
Looks similar to some of my beds. 😊
I love the aquaponics guy!!! Please interview Peng again!
As a person who has had chooks, I know they need to be kept out of new vegetable patches or other new shrubs or trees, and anyway, I just have given up with the wildlife eating everything… I have grown to hate possums here in the Dandenong Mountains, they eat everything! Totally denuded fruit trees, hah! So depressing.
Wonderful hydroponic garden pong, does he ever have aphid issues? They are a nightmare in my greenhouse atm
little early for spuds
So good to see Tino when is he coming back
