On August 3, the garden will host a craft fair.

Children and visitors of all ages can embark on a trail through the garden, searching for knitted ‘Glorious Gardeners’.

There will also be willow weaving demonstrations.

The fair will also feature a range of local craft products for sale, including sewn, felted, and knitted goods, soaps, ceramics, glassware, cards, and jewellery.

The Wandering Fiddler will provide musical entertainment, and the Friends of Geilston will once again run the cake stall.

An art workshop for beginners, led by Julia Gurney, will take place on August 14 from 10am to 3pm.

This workshop, titled ‘Creating a Composition using Colour and Contrast’, will provide participants with a one-to-one guided experience, with all materials included in the £40 charge.

Places are limited to 12 artists.

The family art workshop with Charlotte Anker is scheduled for August 31, offering children aged six to 12 the opportunity to create a sketchbook inspired by the garden.

The workshop costs £10 per participant, with materials provided.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The garden will also host another ‘Sunday in the Garden’ on September 7, with the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir providing musical entertainment at 2.30pm.

The Friends of Geilston tea and homemade cake stall will be open from noon to 4pm.
