I love the gradual gravel ‘shore’. And the lights. And the waterfall! It all looks great!

  2. Actually amazing and the amount of work for nature.

Tip from a fishkeeper – if you wash/sluice the sand in builder buckets first (biiig ass job for this amount of sand) you can skip the “it being all cloudy” stage.

Are the big rocks held in place at all, or just nestled in?

Oh I saw your other post, the pond is wonderful! Excellent supervisor you’ve got there.

The finished article is amazing.I’m sure over the years you get all kinds of wildlife using it. A few clutches of frogspawn next spring if you know a good source!

Since there are pondy people here, where’s the best place to get good pond plants (that’ll keep the water clean and be good for wildlife)? Most garden centres I’ve visited don’t have much. Bonus if native.

Epic! Does your dog get to have a dip? 🙂

Omg 😍 is it expensive to run the pump etc., I would love a big pond one day

Looks nice, it did at one point look like gravy, trust the process

Totally amazing. Just wondering, did you put an overflow in for if it rains a lot?

This looks amazing! Do you have anything living in it at the moment?
