Keep the soil moist… And lightly run a rake over it every couple of days and u should be fine. Don’t walk over it if you can this will prevent compacting the soil

It’s hard to tell if your soil is burying existing grass blades because of the soil on top. If you seeded liberally enough and you have the patience to stay off the lawn just wait for the new seed to grow in and you’ll be fine.
Keep it moist at all times, don’t let it dry out.

Looks good. If you can get some clean dry straw, adding a thin layer will help keep birds away, protect against heavy rain/runoff, and retain moisture overall… As it grows, the straw just breaks down with mowing…
