I built this paludarium as a little summer project to house some plants, and wasn't planning on getting any animals, but my mind has changed. I don't plan on cramming some poor creature in here that doesnt fit the habitat and want to put an animal here that will actually be fine with the habitat. There is a filter chamber hidden in the back where I have a filter, mostly for water clarity. Tank dimensions are 30x12x12. Any advice or tips would help!

I’m confused. Are all the pictures of the same tank?
Cherry shrimp, crayfish, crabs
Skinks could maybe work but I’m not very knowledgeable of them.
Also – if you do get some type of land/amphibian creature and don’t want to hand feed them. You could get something in the water area like the ones I listed or fish that will eat any feeder insects that drown
Vinegar and baking soda. Mix it up let it soak on the glass. Make sure it’s not too runny though or it could end up in the water. Some of it would definitely get in, but the keep amount minimum or carry out a 50% water change.
Works really well to remove the hard water stains on the glass.
