Micans looks like this after 10 weeks in a humidity box. I did not even water it once in those ten weeks. Pic 2 is the BEFORE pic from March – it looked pretty much like that for the previous six months. Repotted into a smaller pot, stuck it in a closed box inside my grow cabinet, and forgot about her. She grew to spite me.
Conclusion: Prissy AF.
Hope she lets me transition her gradually to ambient…🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I have one that is going absolutely nuts. It is barely close to a window in a planter that is too big for it, and yet it still keeps growing. I think my longest vine is about 2ish feet long. Some plants are just assholes.
I have one like this that is growing like a weed! She’s in my bathroom window so maybe the daily sauna she’s pampered with is helping haha. But yours looks amazing!
Lovely results!!
When they’re small they tend to struggle more, from my experience. They eventually take off.

Idk I think plants just do what they want with no rhyme or reason lol. My micans has been pretty ok with moderate humidity and lighting but has random growth spurts

Micans should be fine in ambient humidity! I’ve had mine for about 2 years now, first i had it climbing on a trellis, then i cut it up to grow as this now
100% humidity just sounds like an aquatic plant to me lol
Good to know about the Priss Factor.
Mine was getting bright, indirect morning sun. Meh. Bright, direct afternoon/evening sun, nope. It’s now under a grow lamp, but I’m going to repot it tonight, water it and put it in my little countertop greenhouse back in the bright, indirect or, maybe under the grow light tonight if that’s the attitude it’s going to have.
