Parthenocarpic are the only type of cucumbers I have success with. Last Summer I had one Beit Alpa plant. and I had more cukes than I could keep up with being a household of one person. I had spent probably 10 Summers trying to grow mono-whatever ones like Boston Pickling and only had one or two cukes on a plant and they grew weird and weren't edible. And I live 30 minutes from Boston so I thought they'd be a sure thing.
