  1. Seascape is by far the most prolific producer of huge berries ever! Thanks for the recommendation from your video last year(?) Quinalts were a waste of time. Too small and fruit was very susceptible to botrytis fruit rot.

  2. Yes – very productive day (as always)!! I am really enjoying the spring inspiration. Question: I haven't seen Russell lately! Is he just avoiding us???

  3. Those Annual salvias always bring hummingbirds to my gardens! I always make sure to plant at least a couple every year. This year is rockin deep purple 💜

  4. I love your videos. I’m always learning something new and inspired to elevate my garden, which is a definite work in progress. I have to say I have grass envy. Your grass looks amazing!
Question- can I plant grass seed at any time? Does temperature or seasons matter when planting?

  5. Zone 5b western NY here. I've never wrapped my dahlias ever. Try a handful next year without wrapping and see what happens. It may safe you time and plastic wrap going forward. I dig them out of the ground after the first Frost, cut the stocks down to within about an inch of the tubers, and put the tubers on trays and just lay them in my cold storage and that's it. I don't lose any or nothing, then I divided them in the spring after Frost date and plant them. Just wanted you to know it it can be done a little bit easier for you.

  6. You are pronouncing Honeoye correctly now. Honeoye Lake is one of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York and a nearby town of Honeoye Falls.

  7. How come the dahlias aren't being planted in holes/spots where you would typically plant sweeps of annuals in your beds? Seems like extra work to till up more in the dirt lands. Not judging, just an idea. It looks like there are empty spots that they could be tucked in.

  8. hi laura, as always, love your channel. i know you've told us before, but i can't find it. what is the name of the gravel and size you use on your driveway? i'd really appreciate your response! thanks a bunch.

  9. I never knew that I would be mesmerized by watching someone picking strawberries.
I was thinking how delicious they were and hopes that Laura would make strawberry ice cream for an extra special treat for after dinner.
    🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨

  10. I'm so jealous over your strawberries! I can seem to get it right… I have the same seascape variety and it makes small, tart berries… I don't know what I'm doing wrong😩

  11. Samantha is the epitome of little girl! Poofs of ears on her hairband, high heels, carrying a stuffie and eating strawberries. I adore seeing this. Benjamin is so sweet to his little sister as well. I'm so grateful for what I learn every day from you as well as new plants to try that will succeed. I planted Seascape strawberries for the first time this year and we are almost to the picking stage…very excited!!

  12. I’ve been following Garden Answer from Ireland for about 4 years, watching you plant all those gorgeous Proven Winners annuals each year with spectacular results. You can’t
Imagine my delight when I discovered a nurseries here carrying Proven Winners just this year! I’ve ordered some Superbells, petunias and Bidens…can’t wait to see how they fair in such a different climate!
    Another inspiring video…thank you!

  13. That Samantha! My daughter, Samantha, is now 56, when she was 3/4, she wanted to wear her plastic high heels everywhere! Sometimes it was a bit of a struggle to get her out of them when we went someplace that she needed 'real' shoes!

  14. I have a question. What plants do you fertilize weekly. All shrubs ? Hydrangeas? Roses? Just bedding plants.? If so. When do you use plant tone ,flower tone ,rose tone etc. just trying to set up my fertilizing schedule and just a lil confused. I’ve gardened for years but have learned so many great tips from you and have been so much more successful. If you have addressed this before maybe you could just link the video down below. Thanks for sharing your life and loves with us all.

  15. I would love to grow strawberries, but am wondering how you keep insects from infesting them? We’re in central Iowa, and would love any advice or suggestions! ❤️

  16. Hi Laura and Aaron I was wondering what is the height of your strawberry beds container are? Is it a kit or did you all build them yourselves? Could you please give us the over all dimensions of the raised bed please I am needing a complete garden makeover for my ground fruit and vegetables for medical reasons and I really like the look of your strawberry beds Thank you

  17. Ok a couple things my love for gaura is because of you I need them to make hardier gaura I can't seem to get mine to come back and im only in utah I know your one garden had them that kept coming back.
Also we had a western red cedar Whipcord standard come into work and it was stunning figured you or Aaron would enjoy that plant as a specimen in your garden if you could find it

  18. If the dahlias are wrapped in plastic what is the point of air flow using burlap and crates?
