Context: Zone 6. Spring has been long with some frost snaps. Finally got around to the gardening/planting. The “bush” in question is 3 years old from seed. Thriving on neglect. It’s been hacked and split for family and friends alike to use for good or evil.

I typically dehydrate and grind for my cooking needs and give away the rest.

I’m not Italian, but I’m told this would be just enough for Sunday sauce!

Going forward my bush will be in a pot and hopefully overwinter well enough in the garage.

If you’re in WNY let me know. I’ll drop some off!

What are you going to do with all that?

Are you going to make taco?

    Maybe 2000 tacos?

    Don’t tempt me, I love a mighty bush…

    of herbs.

Wow, I see you trimmed your huge bush! Great growth!

  7. I’m very jealous! I planted 7 oregano last year and only one came back this spring and she’s pretty small and sad.

I’m at the edge between zone 6 and 7

  8. Amazing! We’re in the same zone and my oregano is maybe a foot tall!

Just make sure all the bugs are out of it if you hang it to dry inside. I made that mistake with basil.

Brought about 500 friends inside that weren’t obvious.
