Seems to be much more resilient to dog traffic and pee. We have 2 females 1 small one midsized and they terrorize the grass. The 1st 2 are from yesterday 3rd photo is this morning after some watering and rest after the clean fade 🪒 also experimenting with moving around grass plugs to mix with denser white clover in areas the dogs seems to favor.

Just go to r/nolawns instead instead of trolling here
Your lawn looks awful with the clover.
Yikes. Nobody here is going to pat you on the back. While this may be functional for your needs, overall this looks horrendous.
OP KBG spreads. Had you just kept it mowed, fertilized and watered people y it would’ve eventually filled in all those bare spots.
One of my neighbours has a normal lawn in the front but has clover in the backyard for similar reasons to you. I keep telling him that it’s like his house a mullet. All serious and business like in the front and ready to get wild and party in the back.
The other two commenters are missing the point about the dogs I think. This is a perfectly fine lawn for someone with 2 dogs. I personally think there’s some patches that have too much clover but a grass clover mixed lawn is so much better. I bought a variety of micro clover and mixed thant into the lawn and it’s really nice. Have to spray it down a little bit if patches get too big but after a few seasons it’s damn near perfect.
Gotta love the pro-monoculture gatekeeping.
OP I think you made a good call, clover or not this is your lawn and you can care for it however you’d like. Sounds like r/lawncare to me!
I’m with you OP! My lawn is a healthy mix of plants. Monoculture at the expense of the environment is lame. Your yard looks great
I also like clover. It’s soft. And a little variation looks more natural to me. But it’s just preference.

Get this shit off my feed.
What kind of clover?
I’ve thought about this but my concern is that the clover will give way to mud in the winter.
“The KGB will ask the questions!”
Like you, I have KBG and dogs. Luckily they aren’t big dogs but I still get dead patches from their urine. KBG is just the worst choice I could’ve made because of the dogs, and because I don’t like using the amount of water that KBG needs in the summer.
I think a RTF + clover blend like this one is what I’m going to overseed with this coming fall.

Only problem with clover is it will start bunching up in your lawn and outcompeting your slower-growing KBG if you don’t beat it back every once in a while.
