Just finished my first greenhouse. 10 mil triple layered poly. Overkill for zone 7… but I'd rather overdo than under. I bought mainly to keep citrus trees during winter. The place I bought it from said not to purchase the fan ventilation system …as it would not work properly with the 4 large roof vents. Recommended the evaporative air cooler instead. (It's actually cheaper than the fans… so I don't think he was trying for an upsell).
I planned on moving the citrus trees outside for summer anyway…. but I'm wondering if the cooler would make the greenhouse viable to use during summer. I can't imagine anything growing inside without a way to cool it down. I know about the shade clothes… didn't think that would be enough. It gets full sun all day long. The cooler uses very little electricity and on the hottest days would use a couple toilet flushes of water a day (I'm on a well…. so that was a concern).
Thoughts? Plants that would thrive in the heat?
Thanks for any info.

Where’d you get your greenhouse?
I’m in zone 5/6 and trying to figure out a bunch of this stuff and I design mine. It’s tough here because we have the heat of the summer and potential for sub zero temps in winter trying to find the balance has been tough
