First time ever giving growing my own food a try. I built a few elevated beds on my lawn and planted tomatoes, lovage, radish, potatoes and lettuce. Also trying to grow chilly peppers indoors.

Radish seems to be ready first.

By the way, does anyone know if radish that has been slightly chewed on by slugs is still eatable (after washing it of course)?

Also I can't it that much at once, how to store it best?

Harvest as much as you need on that day.

Radish look great! If you want to sow more, do it in a staggered fashion (every 5 days or something until you cover the plot) so you don’t have another mountain of radish ready at once.

Also don’t let them get too big/tall, as the radish can then get really woody. If you do leave some, let them go to seed and you can eat the seed pods too!

Beautiful! I love the leaves too, stir fried with garlic and olive oil.
