  1. If you put Italian oregano in your tea garden you will get sweet tasting flowers. I always let mine flowers because of how sweet the flowers are. Far better tasting than stevia.

  2. I’m so happy for you! I’d give anything to have an area like yours for my regular garden since all I have is 2 GreenStalks and some pots. But I’m happy for you! You work hard and deserve it! My favorite Vlog….❤❤❤

  3. ?????This year i keep hearing about sunflowers being alliopathic and them affecting the growth of other plants in their vicinity and or spoiling the soil stopping other plants from thriving at next planting. Do you see any problems with this? I thought youd used sunflowers previously to clean contaminants from soil..im confused 😕???????

  4. Jess, I love having catnip in my garden. Even though it is a mint, I don’t find it overly aggressive. It’s also a fantastic herb for relaxation. It makes a lovely tea

  5. Recently i visited a community that reps a tribe called "Miso" (mee-zoh) – they made a corn/yucca chowder it was really simple and good ….but you add a chutney thats hot pepper and cilantro and other amzing flavors and a bit of salt and it was Incredible! That chutney was all the things. Cilantro is just ..❤❤

  6. Fantastic video. I found a recipe for apple sage jelly. I think it would be good on roasted chicken. You never know what you will find on Pinterest.

  7. When you spoke about what plants do, Genesis 1:28 came to mind~ Plants are obedient, people struggle. Wonderful herb garden Jess! Thank you for sharing.

  8. I'm so happy that you decided to make this tea garden. It helps in many ways and it must be so exciting to go out and see its' growth and beauty. Thank you so much.

  9. Larger leave is anise hyssop and the other was regular hyssop I believe. My daughter and I just had this discussion when she sent a picture of her hyssop to me for identification. 😂❤

  10. Last summer we made strawberry lemonade with mint and lemon basil and it was the best drink I’ve ever had!! We used fresh strawberries and lemons!!

  11. You can grow Cilantro indoors. Just throw some dill seeds in they grow fast. Every time I try Pineapple Sage it never blooms until just before it freezes ???

  12. I just love that light periwinkle Greenstock next to your cute green house. I’ve got a bad case of container envy here. I think I’m going to go and get myself two for the entry to my atrium. This garden is going to be such a peaceful and beautiful place to sit and just stare at with a cup of coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine in the golden hour. I remember that beautiful tangerine rose in your old place. I tried to buy one but they were always out of stock, I guess I wasn’t the only one who saw it and went straight to their website. I’ve forgotten the name now, something like sunrise?? If anyone remembers could you let me know? I’m gonna go in again for the buy!😂

  13. Jess there is a plant called "Popalo" it is a summer cilantro we grow it here in abundance in Alabama it reseeds every summer just like cilantro does in spring. They actually place a bouquet of it in Mexico at local Mexican restaurants. We love it!! Great in salsas when everything is at its peak in summer for fresh garden salsas. It is a very hearty plant. I am actually eating some right now in my garden fresh spicy cabbage salad.

  14. I have tried and tried to grow basil for years with no luck until now. I put it into a space where never been before and left it alone. It is so tall bushy and with lots of flower. I thought if I let it go to flower would stay. We will see how is it surviving the winter. So far we have heaps of rain. 🤞

  15. ❤Thank you for the tour! 😊 I made lemon balm mint honey tea from the garden for dinner drinking, but also make dried tea blends then bag them for winter use. My cousin gave me scissors and a bag to take mint home from her garden, but I told her she should harvest some too for tea. So many people don’t realize how easy it is to make delicious teas from the gardens!

  16. I am noticing that exact thing with our plants and all the rain… the nutrients getting washed out. Mostly with the freshly planted/transplanted things. The established plants seem to be handling it better.

  17. Thanks for the Tips Jess😊👍
I just planted a tea/herb garden in my new metal raised bed in early May as well. Definitely need to do some pruning 🌱🌿🌱🌼

  18. Im sure you already know this because you probably study the Baker Creek catalog like I do but they have some lovely celosia bred for tea and an edible petunia that makes a yummy iced tea. We drank a lemonade made with them all last summer. They would be a fun edition to your garden

  19. i love seeing this as begin in garden.and patiently waiting for your garden to grow.and i believe everything will be great
