  2. And best thing with larger suckers is you can pack them in damp soil, give them a bit of indirect light for about a week and you'll get roots on the part in the soil. Bonus clone tomato plant

  3. What are your tips for growing tomatoes in an elevated bed garden? The bed is 18" deep and 32" off the ground. 8' x 2'. I can't get on the ground and then get back up again, so all of my garden is in these elevated beds

  4. Love the new shirt! And I am learning a lot of tips from this video to really help with my tomatoes! I now understand why things haven’t been optimal in yours past!

  5. A master gardener told me if green tomatoes are not turning red…..

    1) just use a shovel and disturb roots gently to stress the tomatoe plant
    2) withhold water for a few days to stress it out, both of these options will help make the tomatoe plant turn the green tomatoes red 😄

  6. the plant naturally wants to sprawl because it's setting up for the long term perennial lifestyle. Where they come from there's no such thing as frost , wait what i'm an annual now noooo

  7. What's up Big James we love your videos out here in the Greater Los Angeles South Central Area brother keep on doing what you doing🎉🎉

  8. I enjoy growing a lot of things. Tomatoes are pretty high up on the list. Cukes and peas and lettuce. Blueberries and strawberries are probably my absolute favorite. It just feels so "right" to wander through snacking or grabbing something for dinner or whatever.😊
5B here and we plan on doing a main stem it's tough getting tomatoes while it's still summer! 😂
