I’ve had this plant for a while, but now one of its stems started dying. I tried propagating the leaves growing on it but had no success. Now the second stem is also turning yellow and drying out, even though I’ve been watering it properly and it’s placed near a window.
the leaves at the tip and base still look healthy.
What can I do to save it or successfully propagate it?
thanks🙏

It needs actual soil.
She’s still green so this can definitely be saved! Judging by the size of the leaves and how leggy it is I’d say it’s not getting enough light where it’s currently at. That may also be why propagation failed the first time around. I’d recommend cutting it like three nodes below where the leaves are growing and putting it in some water to develop some roots before putting it back in the leca. As for the lighting issue, I’m not someone who really uses natural light so I’m not sure what window position would be best but I’d honestly just find an affordable grow light instead of playing chicken trying to find the light lol. Barrina and Sansi are the brands I’ve used and they’ve got some affordable lights that I’m sure would work fine for a heartleaf philodendron. Eventually it’ll need nutrients since it’s in leca but I wouldn’t worry about that until it’s got roots. Best of luck!
So like, plants need light
Hey! This is a heartleaf philodendron, not a pothos. 🙂
Needs dirt. Needs drainage. Needs light.
Are those cocoa pebbles
It’s dying because the pot doesn’t

have drainage, needs more light, and a better substrate, as others are saying you’ll probably want to propagate this plant, maybe cut off that lower section and stick it into a glass of water, once the roots have grown to the bottom of the glass change it to a pot with drainage holes at the bottom, use mirical grow from walmart
