Overseed with pre-germ seed used starter fert and lots of water. 4x a day at 10 min. no inground irrigation system (timer and a couple of hoses/sprinklers from home depot) I am in Lakewood, Ca zone 10b planted KBG from nightshift and some box store kentucky 31. Pre-germ was 7 days had germination starting in around 5-6 days once down. I spread the seed with milo at start then at 11 days i put down scotts starter fert.

To prep for the process I plug aerated with the kd stonedge rolling aerator(loved it(i rolled the dice and purchased)) then seeded, raked, rolled on some peet moss and watered.

I'd like to note that i am very new to this and am only pretty sure the rest of my lawn is warm season grass. I didnt really understand cool/warm when I purchased the seed. I also understand that the season has changed a bit and i am not the only reason that the grass is green.

Top right section is mostly new grass

I mowed with the Webb 12h here and loved it with the exception that i had to pull off the plastic handles and use my impact to torque down the height adjustment nuts as it twice loosened on one side and dropped mid push :/ Id also like to modify it to cut at like 1.25-1.5 inches(shouldn't be to hard another day)

I am dialing back the water now at 5/31 it has been 3 weeks today.

Now to learn about fert and continuous maint.

Be Gentle I am learning any suggestions for upkeep are welcomed.
