Sunday Reset | Garden Tour, Flower Bed Plans, and Homestead Life Update 🌿 | Homemaking & Simple Living
Welcome to a peaceful Sunday Reset on the homestead! 🌞 In today’s video, I’m taking y’all along as I get outside to work on my flower beds, plant caladiums, and give you a full tour of our growing backyard garden. This season, I’m learning as I go—making plans for a big, beautiful flower bed filled with caladiums, roses, and more. It’s messy now, but it’s all part of the journey.
Then we head to the back of the property where I show you my potato patch, okra, green beans, corn, tomatoes (I think! 😄), and so much more. If you’re into simple living, gardening, and homemaking, you’re going to love this laid-back reset routine.
🌱 Whether you’re here for garden inspiration, real-life homemaking, or just need a friend to unwind with, I’m so glad you’re here.

Hey friend, welcome. Hope you’re having a wonderful day. If you’re new here, my name is Jesse. So, today’s video is a Sunday reset. I’m going to be getting everything ready for the start of the week, of course. So, I am going to be sharing with you a yummy crock-pot meal. I’m about to actually go get my groceries, so I’ll share that with you. I’m going to restock everything. And then I need to reset my house really quick. And then I’m going to go outside and get some gardening done. I need to get some yard work done. I’m just I’ve just got a lot to do outside. So, I don’t want to spend a whole lot of time inside, but I do want to get everything that I need to get done first inside before I head outside because after I’m out there, I can be out there all day long just just getting it done, you know, and I won’t think of anything. And then as soon as I come in, I’ll have so much to do and it’s like, girl, you just stayed outside all day and now you have all this to do. And it’s just like I’m not going to want to do it. So, I’m going to do all of this now. All of the cleaning, get my family fed, reset my home, and then we’ll head outside and get to some of the fun stuff. I’m just so excited to show you my garden. It has grown so much. I’m so proud of it. Y’all know that I don’t have a green thumb, but I am so surprised. I’m just so surprised. So, I cannot wait to share that with you. That’ll be a little bit later. So, if you’re new here, be sure to subscribe. Join my YouTube family. I’d love to have you here with me. I share all things homemaking. So, I’m going to go ahead and get started. So, if you’ve got anything that you need to check off your to-do list, get up and let’s do it together. And if you’re ready, let’s get to it. All right. Let me go ahead and share this grocery haul with you really quick. So, I’m going to be having a shrimp boil and I wanted some corn. So, these um were on sale, so I went ahead and picked up some corn. One of the meals this week is going to be a crock pot. Whole chicken with veggies. I cannot wait for that. Another crock-ot meal is going to be smothered chicken legs in the crock pot that we’re going to be eating over rice. I’m so excited for that one. I have some hogies there. And I I got the wrong ones again, but they’ll do. Um we’re going to be having French dips tonight. And I usually don’t get the ones with sesame seeds, but I’ve gotten sesame seed ones a couple times cuz I’ve gotten the wrong ones. Fish tacos one night this week. So, I’ll have some flour tortillas. Some more eggs only because we’re having a bowl this week and I wanted to make sure we had plenty of eggs. Some bananas. Some mini cucumbers. These are really, really good. I have some celery, some carrots. I have some sllo mix. This is for the um fish tacos. I also have some brown gravy here and some au sauce, a Cajun smoked sausage. Now, I think I have some in the freezer as well, so I only got one so I could mix it. This is going to be for the shrimp bowl. I have some sliced proolone. That’s going to be for our French dips tonight. We’re going to have actually some tomato soup and grilled cheese a couple nights. And I like to do regular cheese and some of this as well. It just makes it so creamy. So, I got that. Some bell peppers and onions. This is going to be for my smothered chicken legs, and I’ll definitely share that with you. I’m so excited. A couple bags of shrimp for our shrimp bowl. Now, I thought this bag was going to be a lot bigger than what it is. So, I’m going to need more, but I’ll just go ahead and put regular potatoes along with these. I’m sure it’ll be just fine. I have some more onions cuz around here, I love onions. I I put onions in everything. And then back here, I have a couple cans of tomato soup. We’re going to be having tuna one night this week. Also, a big container of some minced garlic. I I go through a lot of garlic. And then some lemon juice. And then over here I have some caramel vanilla caramel coffee creamer. And then some sparkling waters. I love these. I got some of each of the two flavors that I really like. And then of course some waters. I have a lot more waters down there, but just didn’t want to fit them all up here. But yeah, y’all. This is what I’ve got for the week. I’m going to go ahead and get all of this put away really quick and get dinner ready so we can go ahead and [Music] eat. So, I was getting ready to put the meat away in the freezer and I realized we didn’t have any room in there. So, I just left all of the stuff that needed to go in the freezer on the side and I was going to go ahead and take that out to the deep freeze because we just didn’t have that much room. So, I’m just going to put everything else up really quick and then I want to get our dinner going or finished up because we were actually so hungry, but we couldn’t eat because the stuff that we needed for dinner was in the pickup. So, I’m going to work on that. But, I’m fixing to show you how I make my yummy French dips. Now, I’ve shared this on my channel, I think, a couple times before, but if you’re new here, so easy. So, you get your roast, you can steer it if you’d like. I just went ahead and put it in the crock pot. Top it off with a pack of au and then add a little bit of water and just let it cook until it is fork tender. Then you’re going to just let it out. Now the juice that’s left over, you can use that for your au dip. You can add some more au in there or just even like that and dip it if you like. It’s a very flavorful. It’s just a little too oily for my liking. I have used it before and I just found it to be a little too much. So, I like to just make straight, you know, um, au sauce from the packet. But to assemble, it’s very easy. I just get my hogies and then I’m going to line the bottom with some proolone cheese. Now, you can use regular proolone, smoked proolone. If you just want to switch up the cheese, you can do that, whatever to your liking. And then I’m going to put quite a bit cuz we definitely like the cheese. And then you’re going to put your meat on top. I’m going to put it in the oven and let the bread toast up because everything’s already cooked. Once the cheese is melted, the buns toasted up, it is good to go because you’re going to be dipping this in a sauce and it’s going to soak all of that sauce up and it is going to be so delicious. So, that is it. Very, very easy. So, you’re going to want to keep an eye on it and as soon as it starts to get a little toasty, get it out. So, I’m going to make the au sauce now. It is three cups of water to one pack of the au mix. And I’m just going to stir it up. It is going to get dark brown when it is done. It’ll start boiling. Doesn’t take long at all. Kind of like you’re making a gravy. It just doesn’t get super thick like gravy, but it is so good. And I’m going to make that really quick and then I’ll show you what it all looks like. [Music] Relax. Come on. Let’s get you some food. Come on, babies. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. Quick. I’m trying to train my ducks to come whenever it’s time for like when I call them. Come on, babies. Let’s go eat. Hello. You can’t go out. No. So, y’all, I’m kind of sad. This was a rose bush I got from Lowe’s. It had three different rose bushes in one pot. So, I was like, you know what? I’m going to go ahead and divide them up. That way I can have three different rose bushes. Well, it’s doing good and it had a lot of leaves on it. My dogs came over here and chewed it off. They like to sit over here so they can be close to these animals and then they just tear the leaves off these. I don’t know why they do that, but it’s driving me crazy. And then this one is the other one. And it’s doing good as well, but Yeah, they’re wanting their food. I’m trying to teach them how to go around and get in it. See if they go over there to the door. Oh, I think they’re dead. The door’s open. Look at them. Oh, are they going to go in? Oh, there they go. Got to get them in there for the night. They’re hungry. Look at them. All right, turkey. You got to go back in. Mama, you can’t stay out. Stop eating my flowers. Yes, they can come outside now, babe. Oh, well, let me get my chickens in. All right. Yes, they can come outside. I feel between the flock and my dog, so I’m not going to have any plants left. So, I have a rose bush there, some canas there. I have a bunch of like um different kinds of flowers like wild flowers there. But then I also have some bulbs of different flowers in there as well. So I’m waiting for those to come through. I’m actually going to be putting a little border like a lattice border. Oh, I left the chicken out. It’s trying to get in. I need to get it. Let me get it up in here before my dogs terrorize it. Come here, baby. No, turkey. Move. Move chicken. No. Turkey. Stay in. Turkey. Stay. Chicken. Just going back and forth trying to get in here. There we go. There we go. They’re not used to going in and out yet, so they’re trying to learn it all. But they’ll get there. They will get there. Hi, babies. Hi. Y’all going to show off for mama? You going to show off? I love where they strut. It’s just so cute. All right, turkeys. You can’t get out. Bye, babes. Y’all go eat. So, I did the same thing here. I have canas here. I have some roses there. And then I have a bunch of different things growing. I’m not going to put mulch here, y’all. I’m not loving the the look of the red mulch. I am going to go with the brown mulch or the black mulch, whichever one it is, just the regular one because I don’t like the way the the red is. I mean, I like the red. The color is good, but I don’t know. And then last night, I um did some more planting. So, I’ve got some cannons right here. Now, this is gonna get um dug up and we’re gonna put Well, I’m gonna probably go get some um rocks. We’re thinking about putting some rocks up here, but I have some elephant ears here. They’ll they look like that once you put them in the ground and then they come back really beautiful. So, I got some elephant ears here. I did that last night. So, I have this beautiful aelia here. And this is one of the ones my neighbor gave me and it looks to be good. I don’t know if it’s growing. I don’t know what it’s doing. It just it’s not dead. I was thinking about digging it up and putting it over here cuz ultimately I wanted the chicken coop to be here, but we didn’t bring it this far down. So, but I just may leave it just here and just get something to put there. And then let’s go look at this, y’all. It is Are y’all playing? You’re okay. You’re okay. It’s just a car. So, they’re going to go play. Sandler, come over here, baby. But I have been so like upset with this garden. Well, this is not a garden. My flower bed because the mulch has been just a waste of money. I feel we have some a porch the porch cover and when it rains it just comes over here and washes all of that the mulch away. So that has been one thing I may just I don’t know what I’m going to do but that is one of the other flower um bushes that I um separated. So the three they’re still doing really good. I need to get that glove out, but I don’t want to step there because y’all look what’s finally coming in. My caladiums. They’re finally coming in. I’ve been wanting to get out here and do like a lot of different things out here. I actually bought the um the little roll of fabric that you put down, but I first I want to just make sure all my stuff’s going to go through here. But I’m going to get in here and I’m going to put the um the the roll down so all of the grass and weeds will stop growing in here. I should have done that in the beginning, but I didn’t think I would need it, but I have this situation here, which is blah. So, yeah, that’s what I’ve got going on here. So, I’ve got another beautiful rose bush there. It’s doing wonderful. I have another one right here. So, if you’re looking for rose bushes, go to Lowe’s. Go to their clearance rack. They will always have rose bushes. Every time I go and I see them, I get them. Last time I went, they had three. They had this one, they had this one, and then they had the this one, which was like three of them together. And I planted them all separate. So, and they’re doing good. It just looks hideous in here because I’ve got to um get in here and get some more stuff done. Like this right here was really bad, too. Just like over there. But I came out here and I pulled out all the weeds and stuff. So, I’m thinking it’s going to be good if I keep doing that. I don’t know. But I have some more beautiful caladiums here. I have some right here. They’re so pretty. And then that right there is a hydrangeanger. I’m waiting for all of the caladiums to come in. And then I also planted some tulips. So, it’s kind of hard for me to even like try to um do anything in here because I’ve got a lot of stuff planted. It’s just some of the stuff’s going to come back next year. And then that is a beautiful um it’s not a rose bush, I don’t think, but my husband picked that out when we were at Ali’s and it’s beautiful. And then I also have this rose bush and it is beautiful. The color on this one is so pretty. It’s like an orange red. So gorgeous. And then I planted a bunch of caladiums here, too. I’m just waiting for everything to come up, y’all. So, it’s just going to stay looking a mess until I’m able to see everything that I’ve planted. And um yeah, have my work cut out for me. I want this to be absolutely beautiful. Like I’ve learned so much since I’ve planted this and I wanted it really wide because I want this to be huge. A bunch of different rose bushes and like all different kinds of like floral in here. But I’m going to start that next year so I’ll know what to do next year to get this full. But this is going to be full next year. I’ll film it, too. And it’s going to be so pretty. See, I was thinking everything that I planted is going to grow so fast. And I was just looking at the finished picture and not what I was going to have now. But my brother has taught me a lot, too. And so has my dad. So, I also need to plant these these little bulbs right there. I need to plant them. So, let me go ahead and do that now. All right, y’all. We’re going to go ahead and head to the back of my property so I can show you my garden. It’s such a beautiful day out here. I don’t know what the temp is. Did you happen to see the temperature in the kitchen, baby? No. It’s beautiful. My husband comes out here. I’ll ask him. But it is a beautiful day. I was waiting for the sun to go down before I came out here and got started. I didn’t even get um anything else done inside. I just cooked dinner. We ate. It took me a little bit longer to get it going. So, I wasn’t able to get my anything done, but I wanted to come out here and I was determined to get this done tonight. So, after I get done, I’ll go in, wash up, and clean up everything that I got to get cleaned up because I want to get this done. But, let me show y’all what I’ve got going on here. So, this is my garden. Oh my goodness. Look at this, y’all. So, this is my potatoes. Whenever I planted them in the ground, I didn’t have my bags. They were just ordered, but I do have my bags now, but I’ll use them next year. But I have potatoes here. So, this is all potatoes. And then moving on over here, I got some okra in here. I’ve got this is all okra right here. Let’s see. I want to mow all of that around the garden. So, this is all okra right here. I have some corn. I have some green beans right here. And I believe those are tomatoes. But y’all look at this. I have some green beans already. Look at that. I have some green beans. You scared me, Micah. But yeah, I have some green beans. There’s some more right here. I’ve got some more flowering right here. Some green beans are on here. I’m not sure what this is. I’m thinking it’s tomatoes. If you garden and you recognize it, let me know. So, next year it’s going to be a little different because we’re going to do it a little bit bigger. And I’m going to actually label everything because this go around we were just so in a rush trying to get everything into the ground because my seedlings look like they were dying. So, we didn’t want that to happen. We wanted to get them out here. So, we were in a rush, but next time it’s going to be all different. We we’ve learned things to do, things not to do, what we’re going to do, what we’re not going to do. But yeah, let me finish showing you the rest of the plants. And then I have the another one of those right here. Like I said, I don’t know what they are. I have peppers, too. I’ve got one little one looks like it’s growing there. And then I have some right [Music] here. And then grass is growing back as well. And then I have some stuff here. I’ve got peppers, jalapenos, um, sweet peppers, and um, so here we are. We have radishes. I have turnipss and radishes. So, look at this, y’all. Look how beautiful. So, I have them growing. Look at that. Look how beautiful this is. Look at this, y’all. So huge. I can make some turnup greens. I don’t know if this is a radish or if this is a turnup. And then I have um some more right here. They shouldn’t all be in the same spots, but So I’m thinking this is either reddish or turnup and this is something different. I don’t know. But look at that. Beautiful. So, I’ve got all of that growing here. And then I know one of my viewers told me that I needed to move my mint because it’s going to go everywhere. I haven’t moved it yet because we’ve just been so busy, but it’s doing really good. And then I also have cilantro right here. So, got some cilantro. And then this is all peas. As you seen, I have ducks. They love peas. So, this was planted for them. I have peas, peas, peas, peas, peas, all to there. And then I did plant something there. I don’t know what that, but nothing’s growing there. And then I’ve got something here. I don’t know what, y’all. Whenever it produces, I’ll know what it is. And then I have some more peas right here. And I thought I planted some watermelon. I don’t know. I don’t see it, but I got some more peas. I got some lofah. So, yeah, it’s crazy how much this has grown. But you see right here, I have a lot of grass and some weeds. I’m fixing to come over here and mow all of this. That way, it’s not such a big mess. Talking to my brother, I was like, there’s so many weeds out here. It’s like what if whenever I’m getting like the leaves like the turnup leaves and the radish leaves and stuff like that, what if I bring them in and it turns out to be that I’m like eating like weeds? Like that would be so weird. Like what if I pick the wrong thing, you know? I don’t want to do that. So yeah, but anyways, I’m going to go ahead and get the lawn mower. My son’s fixing to bring it to me and I’m going to get started. I want to mow around it really quick. So, let’s get to [Music] [Music] it. So, this is a battery operated lawn mower. And this is just mine for little areas that I need to mow because we do have a zero turn that we use for the property, but I forgot to charge it and I thought it was good enough, but no. So, it ended up dying right when I started. I’m going to go ahead and let that charge and then we’re going to head to the chicken coop. I need to go ahead and um get that cleaned up for the night and then I’ll kind of show you what I do like every night to get my coop clean and how I put my babies to bed. So, let’s go do that whileever this battery charges. Gobble gobbles. Hi, baby. Hi. What are y’all doing? My little gobble gobbles. So, I don’t know if these are male or female. They both strut. If you have turkeys, and maybe you can tell this early, I don’t know. But they’re both struting. And I know both male and female can strut, but I don’t know. They they strut and they bump into each other like they’re about to like I don’t know what they’re doing, but a Did you see the yawn? Y’all ready for bed? I need to put them up so they can go ahead and go to sleep. Hello, my little show girl. Look at these dogs. These turkeys love the dogs. I don’t know what it is. The dogs won’t leave them alone and they won’t leave the dogs alone and they just want to sit here and play with them which is so cute. Y’all are tuckered out, huh? Y’all tuckered out, y’all. Life is just so good with animals. I don’t know about y’all, but I couldn’t do life without my animals. And it’s been so nice having my little flock. It’s just adds it adds to it. But um anyways, I’m so glad my husband I had him. He was cutting some um trees yesterday and I was like, “You know what? Bring a few of those in here.” I told him like what size to do them. I said that the chickens and stuff would love to jump on those and play. I’m going to have like a bunch of um play p uh play pens, a bunch of like different things for them to play with like toys and stuff in here. But yeah, they they absolutely love it. As you can see, they’re all over it. As soon as they got out this morning, they they hopped right on it. But let’s go ahead and put the babies to bed. So, I literally do have a whole play pin in this chicken run for my babies. So, I didn’t know you could use a play pin for a Bruder, but I seen someone use it and then I started doing research on it and there’s actually a few people that actually use that. I was like, “Okay, so it’s a thing. People are using it.” So, I went we were out shopping one day and I stopped in my favorite thrift store. You know, you have those thrift stores. Anytime you’re close to them, you like to stop in. Even if you don’t buy anything, you just have to go in there. And I ended up seeing this play pen and I got it. It was only $14. And I was like, that’s a steal. And I knew I was going to be getting baby chicks and I needed different bruers. And I was like, well, at least I can use it for now and we’ll see how it goes. So, my husband’s going to be building me a Bruder inside this run. That way, I can have a spot for my babies in here, and they’ll have their heat source in there and everything. That way, I don’t have to worry about, you know, bringing them in anymore or nothing like that. So, all of my flocks outside. I’m showing you my babies as I’m putting them to bed. So, in the play pen, I have my two turkeys and my two show girls. They were raised together. So, god forbid they, you know, get lost and, you know, I pick one up or if I two were outside of the run, they will just cry because they all want to be together. So, um, they’re in the play pin together and the other three grew up together. So, they’re in the, um, coupe. They’re old enough to be in the coupe. And I have the little ones in the play pin because they’re not um old enough yet. And plus, they don’t, you know, they’re not all like I don’t want them to get picked on, if that makes sense, cuz the others are older. So, you have to be mindful of that. So, once everybody is a little bit older, they’re all going to be inside that little chicken coop. So, right now, I’m just filling up their water and their food. And I like to make sure they all have food and water before I go to bed just to make sure, you know, everybody’s good. And I’m going to go ahead and do that for all of the flocks. I do like three different ones. And then I’m going to spray down the run. So they’re in here playing. As you can see, their food, they dumped it all out. I don’t want to attract flies. I don’t want it to stink. There is pea gravel in here. I do need at least I would say about 12 more bags of pea gravel. So, I’m going to be getting some more here and there. I’m paying for all of this stuff. I pay for all my chickens. I’m paying for all the feed. I paid for the coupe. It is all coming out of my pocket. So, I’m just mindful on where my money is going. And I want to, you know, make my money last because I’m not made out of money. So, I’m just getting it when I can afford it. So, right now I have about I would say 15 bags already in here, but I would like to have double the amount that I have. So, I will be getting more. It’s just going to make it a lot easier. Now, I was going back and forth on what I wanted in here as far as the sand or if I wanted um pearl. Now, I did a lot of research and I came across a post a few times. There was people that said they have tried every different kind of bedding. Um, and you know, and then they ended up going with pea gravel. It turned out to be the best. And I like the idea because I’m able to spray it down and get it nice and clean. I So, it’s been great so far. I’m enjoying it a lot better than when I had my run last time that had the wood shavings in it. So, I won’t be doing that again. But after I spray it down, I like to go ahead and spread the pee gravel and, you know, make sure it’s all nice and even. For me spraying it down, it does, you know, get a little uneven. Plus, I do need to add a little bit more in here because there’s some areas that still need it. And I’m going to go ahead and make sure they have plenty of fresh food and water and the run is all nice and clean. That way, whenever I let them out in the morning, they already have a nice clean ce. They have their food, they have their water, and they are good to go. So, my ducks will freerange. They just started freeranging, and they’re starting to learn now. Whenever I open the door, they’ll come right out, which is so cute. So, they love running to their pool, getting in their pool. They’re just so happy. So, I just love it. So, anyways, I’m going to go ahead and water right in front of the coupe. I have some stuffed planted, some rose bushes, some canas. I have some bulbs of flowers and just some wild flowers growing. So, I just wanted to go ahead and water them and try to get them to grow. But, and now it’s time to head back to the actual garden and go ahead and mow around the the edge, like the edge part of my garden, because as you can see, the grass is getting very tall and I don’t like when it looks like that. So, I’m going to go ahead and mow that really quick. But I’m so glad that I have this lawn mower. I’ll have all the details on this lawn mower coming to you very soon. And then um it’s been such a lifesaver for me because like I said, we do have a zeroturn. And I love the zeroturn, but this one is just so easy for areas that I want to mow that are like this that I don’t want to use a weed either for. Just I love it. So I’m going to go ahead and do that all around. And then I need to water the garden. I haven’t watered it in a couple days. It’s been raining really good here. So, I just let that rain water do what it does. And I’m going to go ahead and water it tonight. But it looks so much better after all of the mowing. It looks so good. I’m going to get my weeder and go in the rows and get that all weeded as well. But we’re going to do this a little bit different next year. That way we don’t have to worry about all the grass. And I’m excited. And we’re gonna actually extend it out. We’re going to have a bigger garden area. And um yeah, it’s going to be really nice next year. I cannot wait. But you know, I don’t have a green thumb. So I’m surprised every day I come out here to check or when it comes to watering the plants, it’s so crazy how much they’ve grown and everything’s doing so good. And I’m just so proud of myself cuz this is my first time ever doing anything like this. So, I’ve been learning a lot from my mom, my dad, and my brother. They’re they they’re just great when it comes to gardening. So, now it’s a little bit later. I’ve already washed up for the night. I’ve got my PJs on, and I wanted to get in my bedroom and tackle this. This is what I wanted to do before I even went outside, but I took too long getting dinner ready, so it’s okay. But I was determined to have some nice clean sheets on my bed. Usually on my Sundays when I’m working on my Sunday resets, I like to make sure that I have nice clean bedding on my bed because it’s just I love it. I’m going to go ahead and make the bed really quick. Then I want to get some laundry done. I’ve been washing some clothes and I was folding them last night trying to um get them put away and I was working on so much laundry cuz I was behind and I wanted to um get it all done and unfortunately I didn’t. So, some of it still is like lingering around the room on the dresser. So, I wanted to go ahead and get all of that um put away and get my room all cleaned up. So, if you’ve been here with me for a while, you know I have been using this comforter for so long now. I love it so much. I feel like I’m ready to retire it. I am just wanting something different. I I don’t know. I keep saying that and then I always just like, okay, we’ll keep this. But I’m ready. I’m ready for something different. It’s beautiful. But I think I’ve used it, believe it or not, I think for five years now. um something like that four years, but it’s been used a lot and I’ve only switched it out a few times whenever I was using my quilts, but I’m just ready for something else. So, if you have one that you absolutely love, comment below and let me know which one it is because I’m definitely looking and I really want a pretty farmousy um you know, a lightweight I think one that’s a little more lightweight. Um, but yeah, I really want something different. So, I’m gonna be shopping for a new one very soon. I won’t get close to your heartache if you want. Open your door. I’m feeling kind of lost when your mind is hiding whatever that is choking your chest. I can see it in your eyes that you’re shaking cuz you’re holding it back. That is it for today’s Sunday reset. I hope you enjoyed today’s video. I hope you were able to get some cleaning motivation or just some homemaking motivation from this video and you were able to just get up and get some things done right along with me. Thank you so much for watching and if you’re new here, be sure to subscribe and I’ll see y’all in the next one. All right. Bye y’all.

In order for the garden to produce a lot of food, it cannot compete with the grass and weeds. You will have to get rid of the grass by tilling or pulling or hoe it. It will smother out your plants.
Hey girl hey, I get so excited when I see you post!!! Happy Mother’s Day to one fabulous YouTuber 👑💕
Happy Mother's Day! I sure hope you had a great day! 🥰🥰

Your Garden looks Lovely 😊
Dinner looked Delicious
Precious Feathered Children 😊
Try using raised beds, it may cut down on the grass getting into your garden.
Happy Mother's Day !! , hope it was a wonderful one . Just a hint , when planting a garden , here in the south of louisiana, we plant green onions we won't eat them it's just to keep bugs off the leaves of my garden . It really helps with it here . I had noticed some bug holes on the leaves of some of yours on this video . Won't hurt to try in up in your state , plus we doing us a chicken coupe . Will do the Pete gravel in minds , really enjoyed this video . ❤

The plants you thought might be tomatoes ARE tomatoes. Doing good!!!
Hey Jessie get you some plant protectors. Round type fence that goes around your plants. Like you use on tomato plants. That should help
Hey! Hope your Mother's Day was great! Those plants definitely looked like tomatoes from here🍅
Your watermelons are at the end of your pea row. Next year either buy or rent a heavy duty tiller, till the ground really good, add cow manure and some humus to
help with drainage and leave a foot or two between rows, it will give you walking space and you will also have room to weed your plants. You are doing great. My mom always had a huge garden, canned and froze everything because she had a lot of mouths to feed. She fostered 69 children over the years. We had a house full and we still keep in touch with a few of them. I consider them my sisters and brothers by another mother.
Happy mother's day!!!
