I demonstrate how I repot a pepper plant I overwintered in my basement. Zone 6a.

here’s an update on a pepper plant I overwintered in my basement right here is a shashito pepper I did have a MOA Scotch bonnet but it died as you can see this one is doing very very nicely what I’m going to do is kind of repot this I’m going to use the same pot just take it out of the container add more dirt underneath so lift it up and it gives a little more room to grow I’m going to go ahead and use this organic potting soil right here I think I bought this at Menard’s you can see it’s omy listed well when I dumped it out of the pot it fell apart here so let’s see what it looks like when I uh pot it up and here’s what the root system looks like looks pretty healthy actually I thought it would be a lot bigger than that all right here’s what it looks like poted up gave me a chance to actually straighten it out cuz it was kind of crooked in the pot and actually those roots being um not as big it’ll help them expand in the pot actually should probably be better for it and I should get peppers on this relatively soon since it’s a couple years old now so yeah looks very nice though feel like gardening and plant content do me a favor and click that subscribe button thanks for watching everyone
